Indra sent a celestial nymph, Harini, to disturb the sage Trinabindu's meditation. This agitated him and he placed a curse on her - until she sees divine flowers, she'll remain a human. Before Indumati, none of Harini's descendants saw divine flowers and therefore the curse carried on and killed Indumati.
