Anas ibn al Malik reported in Sahih Muslim that “When the Prophet (saw) was four years old, Jibreel came to the Prophet (saw) when he was playing with the other children. When Jibreel came, the other children ran away but the Prophet (saw) stood his ground. Jibreel was overpowering him, forced him on the ground, opened up his chest, took his heart out and removed a black portion from the heart by throwing it away and he said ‘This is shaytan’s portion that he had in you’. Jibreel washed the heart in a golden cup of ZamZam and put it back and sealed it up. When the children ran away, they were looking for adults and was saying that Muhammad (saw) had been killed. Halimah and others were so worried so they went outside and saw the Prophet (saw) sitting and his face was pale. When they saw him, they saw the lines on his chest.”
Anas ibn al Malik said that he could see the traces of the lines of that chest. Sign sent by Allah to show that something physical happened.””
