What is the Secretarial Crew?
These are the three options of where you can go to the bathroom during instructional time
Where is upstairs, outside or portable washrooms?
This is where your water bottle should always be, except when you are drinking from it or filling it up.
Where is in your box?
This is where you should be during read aloud, unless it is an EMERGENCY.
Where is at your spot?
To keep the chairs organized, I will be asking you to do this when you want to sit somewhere else.
What is not moving the chairs?
There are six of these that one of the crews is responsible to electrify at the end of the day.
What are ipads and computers or devices.
These are the two options for going to the bathroom during outside time.
Where is the outdoor bathrooms or the portable washrooms?
You have just finished snack, you have tucked in your chair and you fly out the door. This is what you forgot.
What is put your lunch away?
When finished cleaning up, this is what you should be doing.
Sitting on your spot, waiting quietly.
Instead of coming inside the portable immediately, I am going to ask that when the bell rings, you do this instead.
What is wait outside until the door is opened.
These are the times when the supply crew clears off the rainbow table.
What is the end of a lesson and at the end of the day.
When filling up your water bottle, there are two spots available to you, the farther one is the least preferred though.
What is in Mrs. Blaby's classroom or the Grade 7 Hallway?
These are the two things we do before we leave for a brain break.
What is tuck in your chair, clear off your area?
This is NOT a good time to get up to go to the washroom, fill your water bottle, get something from your bin/backpack or sharpen your pencil.
What is when Mrs. Johal is direct teaching, talking or reading?
This is something Mrs. Johal does not want to hear when you are finished a task. If you ask Mrs. Johal this, she will give you work that you don't want to do.
What is saying "I'm done, what do I do?"
This is when the LBW crew cleans off the board
What is at the end of each lesson?
Before heading out for recess or lunch, your chair has to be put here.
What is at your spot?
These specific things we sit on should never be moved to a different spot.
What are the rainbow table chairs?
You are walking down the hall with your friends and see Mrs. Sveinson and Mrs. LaPointe coming towards you in the hallway. You make sure to do this.
What is being considerate by speaking quietly and moving over into single file line and saying hi?
Name five things you could do if you are finished a task.
What is reading, drawing, writing, working on art or math, studying for an assessment, working on other assignments . . .
Unstacking ALL of the chairs in the morning is the responsibility of this group.
What is everyone?
The only reason you can come inside the school during recess or lunch play time.
What is an emergency?
This is the biggest rule for eating time.
What is stay seated?
On Tuesdays or Thursdays, the Furniture Crew is responsible for doing this, a job that is not sticky, but sanitized.
What is wipe down the tables?
At snack time for a while, I am going to ask that you sit here.
