Who is Kimberle Crenshaw?
Before you start a BA or intake, make sure you check these two things.
What is their survey (Celeste 20) and the top of their note.
Psychiatry, mindfulness sessions and groups do not count toward this.
What are session limits?
Even if you feel it is small, odd or "dumb", we always want you to do this.
What is "ask questions"?
Before bring a chinchilla to the dorm, a student needs to register with this office.
What is the office of Student Disabilities?
Don't do this if you need help with a student. Just take your time, breathe, and text Sam, TR and Vanessa.
What is Panic?
It is OK if you do not get all of the information PNC asks for in an intake, but make sure you assess this.
What is RISK?
Students can only use this service if they are being seen in counseling.
What is Psychiatry?
Calling out sick, keeping to the frame, and telling your supervisor what you need are all examples of this.
What is practicing good self care?
Students can schedule up to 5 of these on their own through the SHS portal.
What are mindfullness sessions?
You can send consent forms and release of information forms through this, or use a paper one and when signed, leave it for Grethchen to scan into student charts.
What is a portal?
Availability, therapist preferences and type of insurtance and/or in-person vs telehealth are all examples of this.
What information do you ask for at the end of a BA?
9am Friday and every day at noon after 5 you cannot schedule this.
What is an in person session?
SHS aims to center this philosophy in everything we do.
What is social justice?
Unless there is an extremely compelling reason, students are not allowed to break this.

Many of our maternal grandmothers had this quality.
