I am a tree with three differently shaped leaves. I have leaves with one, two, and three lobes. I have a fruity aroma and was used as a flavoring in Rootbeer.
What is a Sassafras tree.
I am a 'furry' vine with glossy red or green leaves that grow in groups of three. My oils can cause a reaction that makes you itch.
What is poison ivy.
I am Brassica oleracea. I have been cultivated for many generations to produce at least six different variations that are called by different names and considered different vegetables. These are three of my variations.
Cabbage — bred for its large leafy head
Broccoli — bred for enlarged flower buds and stems
Cauliflower — bred for a dense mass of undeveloped flower tissue
Brussels sprouts — bred for enlarged side buds along the stem
Kale — bred for its leaves
Kohlrabi — bred for its swollen stem
