Higher Order Thinking Skills and Lower Order Thinking Skills.
Higher order thinking skills are often overlooked in Young Learner planning but important because for more able students if they are not challenged appropriately, they become bored. Higher Order Thinking Skills demonstrate/develop a better mastery of the language and they are important to encourage our students to develop creative and critical thinking.
