The Rockers
The Rockers was a tag team that was active in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its members were Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty. The two superstars wrestled together in several different promotions, such as NWA, AWA, and CWA, before becoming The Rockers in WWF. Even though the team never officially won any WWF tag team titles, it remains one of the most remembered tag teams of the "Golden Era" of the WWF.
At "Wrestlemania VII" (March 1991), The Rockers beat The Barbarian and Haku in a tag team match. A few months later, and after real-life tensions began developing between Michaels and Jannetty, the team memorably split up after Michaels attacked Jannetty during a "Barbershop" segment with Brutus Beefcake. Michaels went on to have a much more successful career than Jannetty after the incident. Difficulty: Hard.
