John the Baptist was baptizing people in the desert. When he baptized Jesus, God said that He was well pleased.

Where is God?
God is in all places at all times and is always with His people.

What is repentance?
Repentance is turning away from sin and turning to Jesus.
John the Baptist said that he was not worthy to tie Jesus' sandals.
