This is a meeting to understand why a behavior happened, repair harm, and discuss the impact on others.
What is a restorative conversation?
Meeting the school's academic, behavioral, and social expectations means you are in this status.
What is Good Standing?
To leave school early, a parent must call the office before 1:00 PM and physically do this.
What is early dismissal?
Doing this in any language, including using discriminatory words or gestures, ruins a safe space and is not allowed.
What is the use of inappropriate language?
The place where you brainstorm, jot down ideas, and do Focused Finishes.
What is sketchbook?
Issued for chronic misbehavior, this involves a meeting with the Dean and a parent notification.
What is a referral?
To stay in good standing, you must maintain this minimum Grade Point Average.
What is a 2.00 GPA?
During this specific drill, students must immediately Drop, Cover, and Hold On.
What is an earthquake drill?
In this consequence, students stay in school on Wednesday afternoon to complete a reflection and school work.
What is In School Reflection (or In School Suspension)?
The amount of time students have to turn in late work before it is an NC/0 points.
What is one week?
During non instructional time, you serve this consequence by sitting and reflecting on your actions.
What is lunch detention?
Prom and Grad Nite are examples of these, which are privileges earned by being in good standing.
What are senior activities?
During this drill, classes continue normally inside, but exterior doors are secured and movement is limited.
What is a soft lockdown drill?
This extreme consequence gives students time away from campus to reflect and requires a restorative re-entry meeting.
What is suspension?
These are made up of the words "Safety", "Kindness", and "Respect".
What is class values?
Giving back to the campus through cleanup or gardening on the weekend is a consequence known as this.
What is Saturday Community Service?
Only students in good standing can participate in these extracurriculars, including flag football, soccer, and track.
What are sports?
To maintain campus safety, students reasonably suspected of having contraband may be subject to this action.
What is search and seizure?
Leaving the building without administrative authorization to move a car is considered eloping and results in this.
What is an Automatic Referral?
This counts as 30% of your grade and is done the first 10 minutes of class.
What is IXL?
In this consequence, students are monitored while completing school work outside of the classroom.
What is In School Reflection (or In School Suspension)?
If you lose your privileges, you can restore your standing by demonstrating positive behavior or completing one of these meetings.
