This season calls for renewal and is the forty days before the easter Triduum.
Lent
Jesus is these two things.
Human and Divine
He baptized Jesus.
John the Baptist
The fourth commandment tells us to honor these people.
Mother and Father
This strengthens us with God's gifts to live and defend our faith in the sacrament of confirmation.
The Holy Spirit
These are the days of the triduum.
Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter
The youngest apostle who was the only apostle to stay with Jesus until the end.
John
This saint started the Jesuit religious order.
Saint Ignatius of Loyola
The commandment that says "You shall not kill."
Fifth Commandment
This is used by the priest to rub on the person’s forehead and hands during the sacrament of Anointing the Sick.
Holy Chrism Oil
At Christmas we celebrate this, it is that Jesus is the Son of God, was born like us in all things but sin and became man.

Where Jesus performed the first miracle.

To Love Others
During the Sacrament of Holy Orders, The Bishop does this special action to show the passing down of the Holy Spirit to the man being ordained.
