The organism is most likely Gram-positive. Growth on CNA provides the strongest evidence because CNA selects for Gram-positive organisms by inhibiting most Gram-negative bacteria. Beta hemolysis provides an additional phenotypic characteristic but does not by itself establish Gram reaction.
