What is fiction?

provides factual information about a person’s life. It is written in third person (not by the person that the book is about).

the writer or speaker's attitude toward the subject

the pattern of rhymes in a poem or song, usually at the ends of lines. Sometimes indicated by letters that show which lines rhyme, like abab
What is rhyme scheme?
the idea or feeling (usually positive, negative, or neutral) a word or phrase suggests but does not literally mean.
What is connotation?
a word or phrase that is placed at the top of a piece of writing and gives it a title
What is a heading?
a type of fiction that seeks to explain the beginnings of the world, nature, natural phenomena, or human behavior
What is a myth?
extreme exaggeration
What is hyperbole?
a poem that is 14 lines long and is written in iambic pentameter
What is a sonnet?
an argument (point/reason/view/evidence) that your opponent would make
What is a counterargument?
an alphabetical list of specific information that can be found in a book and the page number to find it. It is usually found at the end of a book
