When a branch receives a quick tow assignment, the branch will call to confirm release information and obtain charges. The branch is responsible for adding release information required for the dispatch note as well as the charge breakdown in the notes.
If charges exceed the provider threshold, the branch will set Storage Location Delay - Charges Not Ready release problem with a 1 hour follow-up time.
• The call center will look for notes indicating the file was a quick tow.• The call center will not make an additional phone call to the shop.• The call center will update charges in the release screen based on notes from the branch.• The call center will then set Total Advance Charges Need Approval release problem and escalate according to provider rules daily until approval is obtained.• Once approval is obtained, the call center will copy and paste the dispatch note containing the release details from the branch and release.
