Why did Christopher Columbus name the Native Americans, Indian Americans?
Christopher thought the world was flat, so if he sailed from where he(Europe) was he would end up in India. He was wrong and ended up in America instead and decided to call the people already there, Indian Americans.

In the winter. They lacked supplies which caused many to die.

The congress used printed money, and back then it was useless. When the U.S was trying to pay off their debts, they would use their printed money but nobody wanted. Also each colony had it's own money, so no one really used the congress'.

Who had the upper hand in the war?
Obviously Britain. They had more money and supplies and their troops were more experienced. Even Americans had trouble picking which side they should join.
How did the European settlers treat the Natives?
At first they were kind, like they wanted peace. And the Natives were very welcoming. They welcomed them to their tribe and taught them many skills. But what the Natives didn't know is that the European were killing the Natives behind their backs. Remember when they(school) taught you that the European settles and the Natives shared a feast. Yeah well that was actually after the Europeans killed hundreds of Natives. It was more a celebration feast for them.
What did the Royals think about this, and did they fund his trip?
After several attempts, Christopher finally managed to convince them. Though the king wasn't to sure, the queen agreed to fund Christopher's trip.

The Congress couldn't enforce laws because each nation was like it's own country. Even if they did get enough votes to pass, they couldn't force anybody to do it.
