British Acts
Passed in 1773, was an attempt at a loop whole for Britain but the colonists still rebelled against it thus leading to the Boston Tea Party.

Was the first attempt by the Continental Congress to avoid war and find a resolve with Britain/King George.

One of the first acts put on the colonies, passed in 1751 which regulated paper money issued by the colonists.

Found on most muskets during this time to combat limited range and accuracy along with long loading times. Helped greatly in hand-to-hand combat.

Created by the colonists to fight the British if needed. It included only locals you were not trained in any form of combat and were to be ready at a minutes notice.

Passed in 1765 which required all printed materials to be printed on paper embossed with an official revenue stamp. Led to the formation of the Sons of Liberty.
The Stamp Act
Once again used by both sides of the war but less popular than the musket. This was due to the fact that even though they had better accuracy they had a long loading time.

Final battle of the war and ended with the Treaty of Paris.
Battle of Yorktown
Final plea sent to King George in order to find resolve and avoid war. Once rejected the colonists officially took up arms.
Olive Branch Petition
Was passed in 1767 and placed heavy taxes on British imported goods to the colonies. Consequently led to the formation of the Daughters of Liberty.
The Townshend Acts
The first official American designed weapon. Created by the same Germans who colonized Pennsylvania.

Passed in 1774 in response to an outburst from colonists, this was not one single restriction but a group. Was one of the harshest acts and the final straws for the colonists.
The Coercive Acts
Extensive loading times and were only effective in close range and was designed for use in one hand. Thus this weapon was used mainly by Calvary men and American officers.
