By taking production under workers control, the super profits produced by the largest companies can be used to reduce the amount of working hours in the day and invest into technology that can't be profitable under capitalism and hiring the vast reserve army of highly educated laborers into their specialized field to now use there degrees to fix the crises caused under capitalism, like environmental damage from climate change, the housing crises and poverty around the globe.

States develop out of a need to reconcile class antagonism, but due to the nature of opposing class antagonism they are irreconcilable. This is best seen in the relationship between landlord and tenant. Your landlord wants you to pay as much rent as possible and give you the least amount of amenities and repairs, while you want to pay the least amount of rent and get the most out of the landlord. This isn't something that the government can correct by passing polices, only attempt to ameliorate.
