Duration of MAC therapy in patients with HIV
Minimum of 12 months.
All patients with HIV who are diagnosed with MAC infection should receive a minimum of 12 months of MAC therapy. In addition, the CD4 count should be stably above 100 cells/microL for at least six months before discontinuing treatment.

Pneumonia acquired ≥48 hours after hospital admission; includes both HAP and VAP
VAP- Pneumonia acquired ≥48 hours after endotracheal intubation
7+3 Remission Induction therapy
seven-day infusion of cytarabine plus either daunorubicin or idarubicin on days 1 to 3
