Principles of Design
It's when a shape or color repeats itself over and over.
What is pattern?
What you do if you have a question, comment or need help.
What is raise your hand?
We go into the back room during this kind of drill.
What is a lockdown?
It's what you get when you mix green and blue together.
What is turquoise?
Things we do not rock or climb on.
What are stools/chairs?
The tool you always start your art with, in case you make a mistake
What is a Pencil?
This is where we go for a fire drill.
What is the parking lot?
Smooth, rough, bumpy; in an artwork, this is the way something feels or looks like it would feel.
What is texture?
A principle of design that guides the viewer's eye through artwork.
What is movement?
Before the bell rings I should make sure the room, and supplies are like this.
What is organized/clean?
You can shred it, put glue on it, use it as decoration, put paint on it. It's one of the first things you start with when making art.
What is paper?
We go here during a Shelter in Place drill or emergency.
What is the High School Gym?
Make something stand out, as in a drawing or painting.
What is emphasis?
When Mrs. F says this phrase I should stop what I am doing, turn my voice off, and listen for directions.
What is "a hush fell over the crowd"?
Weaving, knitting and crochet all require this art material.
What is yarn?
Shouting, laughing, talking, pushing, are all examples of this.
What are things NOT to do during a drill?
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple are examples of this element.
Color
When something looks or feels the same on both sides.
What is Symmetry or Balance?
When I enter the classroom I should check this first to see what we are doing for the day.
What is the COW?
We should stay out and listen for announcements during this kind of drill or procedure.
