depending on how it's resolved, it can either strengthen or scar it

Anywhere and everywhere. since we're always making decisions, there's always places for us to show autonomy in our lives.

These negative feelings can easily rob us of our happiness and make us feel out of control in our own lives. By taking a stand against these negative emotions, we take hold of our lives again in our own way
How does racism relate back to autonomy?
Being discriminated against because of something you were born with/choices you've made robs you of your individuality, effectively making being yourself a "crime"
How does a sense of belonging benefit your autonomy?
Feeling like you belong in a group of people will allow you to feel comfortable acting as yourself instead of putting up a "mask" to fit in

It teaches us how to be independent by learning how to solve our own problems
