Edge does not offer any extracurricular activities.
Unlike most Public Schools this school year, Edge offers a variety of extra curricular activities, and field trips. Most notable among them are Sky School and the Tree Ring Lab.

In order to recover credit, you should work toward completing each course within an 8 to 10 week period.
How to leave the classroom.
What is Minga a pass. Minga is the online service Edge uses for announcements and passes.. If you receive a code, you will need to wait for 5 minutes, before leaving the class. You may sign out to leave the classroom after the 1st 10-minutes of class, and return within 5 minutes. You can find school events/information on the home page, and earn points from your teachers and staff to use for school activities.
Objective, Warm-up, Lesson, Assignment, and Quiz
What make up a lesson in Edgenuity. Each lesson in Edgenuity is made up of an objective, which tells you what the lesson is about, and includes vocabulary essential to that lesson., A lesson, an assigment, and a quiz.
4th period
The period of the day I will spend working IXL in a direct instruction class. This year we will have a shortened WIN's class. Some notable differences are: 10 minute direct instruction lesson by your teacher, followed by an opportunity to show what you have learned with your peers, concluding with 15 - 20 minutes to work on as many skills as possible provided by your teacher. You will be able to earn .25 elective credit for: participation, attendance, completing at least 70% of the skills assigned during this class.

Google Classroom
Where your bellwork, and exit tickets are posted daily. Most classes include your participation in Google Classroom as part of your grade. So be sure to ask your teacher for their class rules.

Direct instruction class for 30 minutes using IXL as tool to engage in teacher led activities and independent learning to increase skill level in core courses.

What 5 minutes per (school) day cost
What is 900 minutes/60 minutes = 15 hours/school year. So in addition to legitimate absences from your classes/courses, this will mean the difference between completing your courses and not completing them.

Bell work will include 10 minutes of math vocab. These vocabulary words will be taken from Edgenuity, ACT, and other relevant math content. Students will be given a short 2-5 minute lesson on vocabulary words, defining them, and where to find them in their course. The goal is to help students to understand the language that is being used in math, which will aid them in understanding their course.
