What should you do before any SOS morning job?
MAKE LUNCH COUNT
Every morning name the 5 steps you take after you enter the school building and make sure to include HOW we should perform these? (use some adjectives!)
1--immediately wash your hand or sanitize as you come in
2--Backpacks and jackets will be placed at your numbered hook
3--Make lunch count with magnets and put cold lunches in lunch tote
4--Fill up water, prep for day (pencils sharpened)
5--Begin morning work, that will always be posted on the board and wait quietly at your seat for morning meeting
Why do we need to be aware of others and our surroundings (classroom rule number 4)?
It keeps us safe if we are aware of things around us, it helps us to be more considerate, kind, and respectful of others.
