200

The type of symbiotic relationship where both organisms are benefitting.

What is mutualism?

200

Water moving into and out of the cell.

What is osmosis?

200

apples, red bull, chocolate bar

What are carbohydrates?

200

The type of cell.

What is a plant (eukaryotic)?

200

The body system that helps you move and lift.

What is the muscular system?

400

The bacteria's role in this food web.

What is a decomposer?

400
Two things needed to move molecules from low to high in active transport.

What is ATP energy and protein channel?

400

Carbohydrates and lipids have this in common.

What is C, H, O and energy?

400

What these need to reproduce.

What is a host cell?

400

The type of tropism shown in the picture.

What is phototropism?

600

The succession where an ecosystem starts without soil, grass or trees.

What is primary succession?

600

The biomolecules the plasma membrane is made out of.

What are lipids and proteins?

600

Messi is on a diet and needs to build more muscles and needs something to supply him with more stamina throughout his games so that he does not get tired.

What are proteins and carbohydrates?

600

Plant cells have these structures while animals do not.

What are cell walls and chloroplast?

Silvia is eating spicy ramen noodles, what body systems work together to help her eat?

What are digestive system and muscular system?

800

In some coral reefs, a symbiotic relationship exists between pygmy seahorses and sea fans. The pygmy seahorse can wrap its tail around the branches of the sea fan. This allows the pygmy seahorse to be the camouflaged within the sea fan, protecting it from predators. The pygmy seahorse does not harm or benefit the sea fan while it grasps the branches with its tail.

What is commensalism?

800

The membrane is permeable to water NOT starch. When osmosis happens which side of the beaker will have the most water?

What is the left side?

800
Two things that can affect the performance of an enzyme.

What is pH and temperature?

800

Evelyn catches a cold and starts to experience symptoms instantly, the viral reproduction is...

What is the lytic cycle?

800

The organ system that supports and protects your other organs.

What is the skeletal system?

1000

Based on the food web, how would a significant decrease in the sea lion population due to an oil spill most likely affect the salmon population and it's prey(s) population?

The salmon population would increase causing the sardine and squid populations to decrease.

1000

Another term for cell membrane.

What are Phospholipid Bilayer or Plasma Membrane?

1000

According to the graph, which enzyme will perform great in acidic environments?

What is pepsin (green)?
