Capacity for days requested have been met by other staff members who have requested time off prior.

How do I get a pass?
To sign up, use our secure form. Once CDSS confirms your information and eligibility, California State Parks will print and mail your Golden Bear Pass to you!
What if the day off is regarding a medical related situation?
Please follow the attendance policy procedure and reach out to your supervisor in the circumstances the time off request is rejected. This may require documentation for Management approval.
What qualifies you to receive CalWORKs?
If a family has little or no cash and needs housing, food, utilities, clothing or medical care.

Passes will be mailed out approximately 4 weeks following the date of application.

What CalWORKs program is HVP?
Home visiting is an evidence-based, voluntary program that pairs new parents with a nurse or trained professional who makes regular visits to the participant’s home to provide guidance, coaching, and access to health and social services. The HVP supports and resources will include, but will not be limited to: (1) prenatal, infant and toddler care, (2) infant and child nutrition, (3) child developmental screening and assessments, (4) parent education, parent and child interaction, child development, and child care, (5) job readiness and barrier removal, and (6) domestic violence and sexual assault, mental health, and substance abuse treatment, as applicable.
