Accident report - injury to camper or staff, injury is more serious and requires medical attention
Incident - Unruly parent, program participant, other staff, violence in or outside program, incidents that require police involvement, graffiti or damage to facilities

What do you do if someone is picking up a camper not on the authorized pick up list?
-First check sign out sheet to see if their is notes about someone else picking up and if nothing on there Check ID
-If the person is not on the authorized list, call parents to verify, you cannot release the child until talking with a parent
If the parents have not arrived or contacted you by _____ time, you need to do what?
by 5:35pm , you need to call the parents or other contacts listed for that child until someone answers.

What should you do if a kid poops their swimsuit/pants?
-Have child take off clothing, get gloves on and put clothing in a bag, give child wet wipes to wipe themselves, verbally assist if needed (Do not do it for them), give them change of clothes, have them put dirty clothes in backpack, make sure they wash their hands and area is clean

1. Still need to be professional

1. check food labels
2. Be aware of what kid has food allergy
3. Separate campers who have food allergy
4. Kids should be washing hands before/after lunch
When is it okay for the kids to be alone in the Art Room?
NEVER!!
1. What are signs of a child drowning? 2. Then, what do you do if a child is drowning?
1. Head low in the water, head tilted back with mouth open, glassy or empty looking eyes, arms flailing, gasping for air, body in near vertical position with barely any movement, hyperventilating, under water for long period of time, attempting to roll over on back
2. Make it known, access the situation if no lifeguard around, then jump in
When closing down the facility what steps do you need to do?
Kitchen locked, outdoor bathrooms locked, Art Room cleaned/locked up, Gym area cleaned and all doors are checked to make sure they are locked, Lights off in all facilities, All heritage room doors locked
What do you do if a child goes missing or is lost?
1. check all rooms participant could be in
2. Notify supervisor
3. Closely check all rooms again
4. Ask co-workers for help
5. Ask participants if they saw them
6. Complete perimeter search
7. Ensure all other participants are engaged and in activity and being monitored
8. Call 9-1-1 if participant is still missing
