Math Building (Kirwan Hall)
This is a Physics makerspace focused on fabrication, electronics, coding, and experimentation. You can get involved through their frequent hour-long workshops where they teach a basic skill with no prior knowledge assumed.
The Vortex Physics Makerspace
This building in thought to be haunted. Some attest to hearing a piano during nighttime storms.
Marie Mount Hall
This library is home to special collections and University archives including a reading room and exhibition gallery.
Hornbake Library
This space includes six different hand-presses for letterpress printing; a cabinet full of lead and wood type; two typewriters; a 3D printer, Cricut, and Glowforge; material and tools for paper-making, bookbinding, zine-making, and sensors and circuitry for paper computing.
BookLab - They run workshops, host classes, organize events with visiting scholars and artists, and have regular open hours Monday through Thursday.
Beginning in the 1860s, the college was run as a military school and members of the campus community have reported hearing the sound of marching feet outside of this building. Also one of the oldest buildings on campus.
Morrill Hall
This library is located in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and it provides resources and research support for music, theatre, and dance.
Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library
This space provides digital-making rather than physical fabrication. It works with things like VR, AR, photogrammetry, 3D modeling and 3D printing.
