What are borders?
The practice of farming.
What is agriculture?
Adjusting to changes in our environment.
What is adapting?
Friends, usually friendly nations you can trust who are on your side.
What are allies?
The way something or someone moves from place to place.
What is transportation?
Land that is great for growing crops.
What is fertile land?
People who live in the Himalayan region of Nepal and are known for being extraordinary mountaineers.
What are Sherpa?
A structure that is built to hold back water.
What is a dam?
A trade route that went from China to Eastern Europe.
What is the Silk Road?
The science of heating metals to give them certain desired shapes or properties, of tin and copper.
What is tealllurgy?
These are people who travel from place to place and do not settle down for long periods of time.
What are nomads?
The Euphrates and Tigris Rivers run through this area that is modern-day Turkey, Iraq, and Iran. This area was the heart of ancient Mesopotamia and gave rise to great civilizations.
What is The Fertile Cresent?
To move from one area to another, sometimes in search of resources.
What is to migrate?
Countries can become rich and powerful when they have this.
What is an abundance of natural resource?
This started as a philosophy, or a set of ideas and beliefs, and later became a minor religion in East Asia.
What is Taoism?
I am a large area of grassland. One place I am found is in East Asia.
What is a steppe?
Home to one of the oldest and most mysterious ancient civilizations developed, this area stretches through Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Northern India.
What is The Indus River Valley?
Something that can be sold for a profit.
What is a commodity?
The movement of people either for a short time or permanently, from one place to another.
What is human migration?
This is a polytheistic religion, which means the belief in many gods. It is the oldest religion in the world and dates back several thousand years, even before the beginings of ancient Egypt.
What is Hinduism?
I am the tallest mountain above sea level in the world, and I am found on the border of Nepal and China.
What is Mt. Everest?
This empire was built on the banks of the mighty Mekong river and spanned many different countries. It consisted of modern-day Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Southern Vietnam.
What is the Khmer Empire?
Areas where a resource is abundant.
What are reserves?
Conflict within the government or about the government.
What is political unrest?
This is a monotheistic religion, which means the belief in only one god. It is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity and began in present-day Saudi Arabia.
