Kamila wants to make and use models to compare vascular and nonvascular plants. To make one model, she wraps green modeling clay around a long straws and attaches plant parts of different shaps. TO make the other, she takes a green toothpick and breaks it in half. Then glues small pieces of green sponge on the sides. At the bottom she glues small, thin pieces of white sponge. Which model is the vascular plant, and which is the nonvascular plant. Explain why.
The first model is the vascular plant because the staws represent the tubes that carry its food and water. The second model is the novascular plant. It is much smaller and has no tubes to carry water.
