False, but homework checks (like small quizzes) will occur weekly.
When should AirPods/headphones be used?
Only when Mrs. Speights gives you permission in class! Otherwise, they should be put away in backpacks or lockers.

Before school starting at 7:40 in the mornings, during activity, and during fixed carrier
True or false: If Mrs. Speights asks you to put away your computer, she means after you finish your message or your game that you're playing.
False! Follow directions the first time they are given!

Should you use your baby calculator or big calculator?
For most assignments, either is fine! I will show you how to use certain shortcuts on the Ti-Nspire, but everything we do in Geometry can also be done with only the baby calculator.
True or False: Mrs. Speights can provide plenty of assistance and extra practice for you as long as you can tell her what you're confused about.
True! Coming in and saying "I don't get anything in this class!" is not very helpful for me or you, but if you can show me a problem/topic that was confusing to you in class, I can go from there to give you specific feedback and assistance.
How do you come to class prepared to learn?
True or False: Mrs. Speights LOVES when people ask to go to the bathroom when she is in the middle of teaching!
False; this is probably Mrs. Speights' biggest pet peeve. Unless it is an emergency, please try to handle bathroom breaks between classes or during individual practice time.
What should you do if you have extended time?
Come before school or during activity period the day of the test. Let Mrs. Speights know ahead of time that you plan to use your extended time!
Do internet issues excuse you from completing an assignment?
No! Assignments can be completed in class, before school, during activity period, or during study halls even if your internet at home is out. I will always give you PLENTY of time to complete any computer-based assignments.
What should be the first thing you check whenever you're absent?
