When participating in this, a student-athlete is not allowed to receive expenses or wear their institution's current uniform

This non-student staff member on a team is not permitted to receive any type of payment (cash or benefit)
Who is a "volunteer assistant"
This type of activity is prohibited after a student-athlete's final competition for the day
What is "CARA" or "practice"
A student-athlete must be what in order to receive paid expenses for travel and competition
What is "eligible"
This is a self-funded recruiting trip to campus, where the PSA does not receive any paid expenses
What is an "unofficial visit"
All student-athletes are required to fill out this form on ARMS before starting a new job
What is the "Employment Form"
Prior to a PSA's competition, this type of interaction is prohibited between the PSA and coach
What is "in-person contact"
Although the competition may actually last longer, all competition and associated athletically related activites chalk up to this many CARA hours for the day
What is 3 hours
A celebratory or special gathering with food that requires prior Compliance approval.
What is an "occasional meal"
The maximum length of time that a PSA can be on an official visit
What is 48 hours
Any workout activity that is unsupervised or exceeding CARA limits must always be what
What is "voluntary"
Only these individuals are permitted to have off-campus recruiting contact with a PSA
Who is a "countable coach"
All RARA and CARA is prohibited one week prior to the start of this for out-of-season student-athletes
What are "final exams"
Any gift or benefit from this individual to a student-athlete is always considered impermissible
Who is a "booster"
Including the PSA, this is the maximum amount of complimentary admissions for an official visit

When recruiting contacts are not permitted (because of recruiting calendar restrictions or age of the PSA), any in-person communication in excess of this with a PSA or the family member is impermissible
What is a "greeting"
Although technically also a booster, this individual is permitted to have contact with PSA on a campus visit
Who is a "former student-athlete"
If a team arrives back on campus before this time and does not engage in any more required activities, then the travel day can count as a required day off
What is 5am
In the event of an emergency, schools can use this fund to help student-athletes get home
What is the "student-athlete assistance fund"
In addition to the $75 daily entertainment expense, a student host can receive this much extra money per day for hosting each additional PSA on an official visit
What is 40 additional dollars per day
Prior to this day, it is impermissible to text a PSA his or her scholarship offer
When is August 1 of the PSA's senior year
Managers, male practice players, and non-coaching staff members with sport-specific responsibilities are all prohibited from providing this type of guidance to a student-athlete
