Who are CLASSROOM STAFF? As a paraeducator, you have to ensure that devices, including iPads, speech devices, and other SDI, are charged and ready for the student to use. Side note - speech devices should be available to students all day, every day!

Who are ALL OF THE TEAM MEMBERS? We ALL must implement IEPs.
Data must be collected weekly. If a student misses this number of days, it is acceptable to not take a weekly data point.
What is THE ENTIRE WEEK? If a student misses 4 days but is in attendance on Friday, data must be collected to adhere to the IEP language. The only time data should not be collected for the week is when a student misses a FULL WEEK of school.
This term refers to the legal obligation that ALL SCHOOLS have when it comes to supporting students with disabilities in interactions and meaningful relationships with students without disabilities.

This term refers to a change in HOW materials or content is taught.
What is an accommodation or adaptation?
This is a style of communication where the person appears to be passive on the surface, but is actually expressing their anger, frustration, or resentment in a covert or indirect way.
What is passive-aggressive?
This is the name of the law that requires specific attendees of an IEP team, including the parent, student, and general education teacher.
What is IDEA? Note - due to being in a full-time special education program, our IEP teams do not have to include a general education teacher.

This is the MINIMUM number of days that a Pennsylvania school must provide instruction.
What is 180 days? This is why we very rarely will have snow days - we are required to provide the instruction that is stated in the IEPs.
