What is a washroom break?
It is a designated time that our class gets to use the washroom.
Where do we meet each morning?
In our zone behind the junior equipment.
I'm in grade 2 or 3- do I need to wear a mask?
You are encouraged to wear a mask and you must if your parents want you to.
How long do we need to wash our hands for?
20 seconds
What do I do when I'm lined up in the hall?
The same thing as when you are lined up outside- zombie arms!
What if I have a bathroom emergency?
You are permitted to go ONLY if it's an emergency and you head right back to class.
Where do I play at recess?
We stay in our own zone when outdoors for recess.
Will kids be wearing masks outside?
No, you do not need to wear your mask outside

Where am I allowed to go in the classroom?
You must remain at your desk unless instructed otherwise by the teacher.
Can I use any washroom?
You are only permitted to use ONE bathroom in the peninsula, your teacher will show you.
What can I play with?
You may bring something to play with from home but it MUST STAY IN YOUR BACKPACK when not outside. There will be some items to choose from here, but you may NOT share.
Where should I store my mask when I'm not using it?
Hang it on the magnet on the side of your desk or where your parents told you to keep it.
When will I sanitize my hands?
You will sanitize your hands every time you come in and out of our door and other times throughout the day.
How do I line up for the bathroom?
There will be stickers on the floor to show where to stand. Only 3 students will be allowed in the washroom at a time.
What happens if I need the washroom at recess?
You need to use the times you are given as much as possible. If it is an emergency you will be permitted to use your bathroom.
Will I be outside a lot?
You will be outside more often that you are used to, so wear clothing that is appropriate for the weather.
How do I take my mask off properly?
You take it off by grabbing both elastics that go around your ears.
