No, for all summer camps, summer recreation programs, vacation bible schools they will be treated like a normal contact.
Will campers be allowed to use beaches and or pools?
Yes, they are able to use pools and beaches. Good hygiene should be practiced and encouraged
Custody situations, if I reach the non-custodial parent what should I do?
Please ask for a good contact number for the custodial parent.
What is the youngest age a child can be vaccinated to attend camps?
? Only children ages 12 and over are able to receive the vaccine at this time

How will camps distinguish between allergies and covid symptoms?
A health screening prior to camp will list any allergies whether it is food or environmental for the nurse on staff. They will determine based off of this screening questionnaire the child/staff members medical status

Will there be testing available at camps for campers exposed?
Camps are required to have medical staff on hand that can refer campers exposed for testing. Some camps may offer testing onsite. LHD’s are working closely with camps to ensure testing is available.
Should we still click school hub/student for a student attending summer school?
Yes, please trigger this child attends school. Collect all relevant school information.
Are masks mandatory for summer camps?

How do we diffuse angry parents with their finance questions for programs paid for that their child may not be able to attend?
Refer them to the camp to discuss any questions regarding refunds.

What is the capacity at a summer camp?
There are no capacity limits, camp operators can choose to follow guidance set out June 7, 202
Will proof if a child is fully vaccinated be asked to be provided to the camp or program?
Camps reserve the right to ask for proof of vaccination status for all camper’s and staff.
What happens if the camp name is not on the dropdown menu?
Please select other and gather as much information as possible. Then email your supervisor who can email Kip to have that camp added
If a summer camp takes place at a Boys and girls Club or places like this how is that handle?
These are businesses, so we must not disclose the exposure took place at that location.
Will staff and campers have to test negative before coming to camp?
It will be reserved to individual camps if they want to require testing. Daily health screenings at camp must occur as well as a screening prior to arrival asking about possible exposures, symptoms and travel.
How will parents know if their child gets ill at camp?
Overnight Camps will have isolation and quarantine quarters. Parents have 24 hours to decide if their child will stay at camp or return home.
With current guidance are campers suggested to be kept in the same groups through the whole experience ex. Same cabin group ect. Why is this suggested.
It is suggested to help minimize the number of exposures if someone does get covid 19.
Does camp staff need to be fully vaccinated?
No, staff does not have to be fully vaccinated but it is highly encouraged
