What is the difference between a lock-out and a loner?
A loner is when a student needs a key for a few days. They are looking for thier keep or they left their key at home.
A lock-out is when a student needs a key for 5 mintues or less.

What to do during a fire alarm?
Remain Calm
Lock the cash drawer (if you are not in danger)

What to do about elevator entrapment?
Monday-Friday (8am – 5pm) –Call the Housing Office at 5-2332 first and then 5-8000 is no answer at the other number. Contact the A/RLC to let them know about the situation.
Monday – Friday (5pm – 8am) – contact an RA who will then get in contact with a coordinator.
Friday – Sunday call an RA who will call the director on duty.
Do NOT call UPD unless you have tried to call the RA and/or coordinator and received no response.
What is the recore process? (4 steps)
Fill out the recore form and put it in Thai's mailbox
You will know that the recore is complete when the TMA #is written on the form and it is in the desk drawer
Keys will be given to the front desk, put them in the log and email the student
When the students picks up their keys have them comeplete and form, tape the key to the sheet and put it in Thai's mailbox

What to do during an armed assailant?
If you are notified of an armed assailant via text/email, follow the instructions in the text (i.e., “Secure in Place”).
If it is safe to do so, lock the cash drawer and package cabinets.
Take cover in a safe area (place that has a lockable door and/or limited windows).
If possible and safe, clear residents from the lobby/desk area.
If you are notified of an armed assailant by a resident, attempt to get as much information as possible. This includes proximity to the building, visual description of the assailant, etc. Notify the A/RLC or coordinator on duty ASAP from a safe location.
