What is a "wrap around probe?"
Located in the output shaft bearing support housing. Targets a tone wheel mounted on the shaft. The controller uses this sensor to detect output shaft speed and confirm that shifts have been made.
What is the Output Speed Sensor?
The multi meter should be connected is series when performing this procedure.
What is measuring current/amperage?
High capacity, on/off air valves that contain a pair of electric solenoids used to control air brake application pressure. As these two “inlet-air” and “exhaust-air” solenoids are energized and de-energized by electrical signals from the ABS ECU, the controller can pump the brakes.
