Who is allowed to enter residential wings of the building?
Anyone with an ID card that has valid access (residents, facilities, hall staff) and MSU DPPS. Everyone else needs an escort. ICE is not permitted unless escorted specifically by MSUDPPS
What conditions must exist for medical amnesty to go into effect?
- Someone has to initiate asking for help
- Must be a medical concern present
(YOU don't have to determine this)
Can I have an e-scooter if I have it stored in the bike room?
Nope. Call parking services if you need to know where to park an e-scooter
When should the duty log be submitted?
Early in the morning or after your last round (by 8AM)

What do you do when a resident requests to be anonymous in your incident report?
Can residents post political signs in their windows?
Yes:
1) It's free speech, also a non-prohibited item within a residence hall room
2) If the sign is clearly harmful (ex: All Cat Owners Need to Die) or bias-oriented (ex: CDs are terrible and Stinky), then we can ask them to take it down
3) We cannot remove the sign just because we do not like the candidate, as political affiliation is a protected category (ex: Vote Wally Wolverine for Mayor!)
Why do we need you to do rounds in pairs?

We cannot give ANY medical care to students, this includes medicine. I am okay with tissues (I am also okay with band-aides for MINOR wounds and if we are lowkey)

Are we allowed to have political activities in the building (ex: someone tabling for a local mayoral candidiate)
Actually, yes. Political activities are permitted to be in PUBLIC areas (anywhere not requiring a card swipe)
They cannot enter residential wings unless ESCORTED by a resident
Residents can place "No Solicitation" signs on doors
