All of your materials, objectives, and plans for Task 1 should all relate back to this term, the goal of a lesson segment.

In the glossary, this is defined as the major points you want students to develop during the learning segment.

This is the minimum scores required for licensure and graduation.

This type of final assessment does not meet the requirements for an assessment in Task 3.
What is a formal, summative assessment?
This is how many artifacts you will submit for a complete Task 1.
What is 5 different documents?
This is the term for words and phrases that have different meanings academically than in everyday life, both general academic and subject-specific.
What are vocabulary/symbols?
The second clip you submit will show students doing this.
What is using sources to build arguments?
For video/audio submissions, if the discussion is not clearly heard, you must also add this to your commentaries for the task.
What is a transcript?
These are the three acceptable types of feedback artifacts permissible in the edTPA.
What are audio, video, and written feedback?
An English learner, a struggling reader, an underperforming student, a student with gaps in academic knowledge, or gifted student needing greater support or challenge.

What are language functions?
In your clips, you can choose either the whole class or smaller groups; but this is the minimum number of students required.
