What were Sumer’s Social Classes? Name 2 groups of people in each social class.
The highest or ruling class in Sumer was made up of the king, important government officials, priests and warriors. The middle class was made up of less-important government officials, craft workers, farming supervisors, merchants, doctors, carpenters, potters, and bricklayers. Slaves and farm workers made up the lowest level, or working class.
