Yes. Use Channel 5 on the walkie to ensure nurse is present. Fill out a Nurse Visit Slip and send it with the student.

Explain the difference between a LOCKDOWN and a LOCKOUT.
A lockdown means there may be a threat inside the building. Clear the halls, lock the door, cover the windows, barricade the door, and keep students at a level 0.
A lockout means there may be a threat outside the building. Lock the door and cover all windows. Normal activity will continue, but no one is allowed to leave or enter the building.
