Describe the dress code
student advisors are required to be appropriately dressed and groomed at all Upward Bound activities and functions. T-shirts with inappropriate messages and pictures are prohibited. Revealing clothing, to include bare or open back tops, bare mid-riffs, low cut pants (hip-huggers), very high shorts or skirts, spaghetti strap tops, tank tops/undershirts, see-through clothing and any other items that may be risqué is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Student Advisors found to violate this code will be subject to immediate disciplinary action. If there is a concern about the appropriateness of an outfit, follow the rule of thumb and do not wear it. Contact career staff should you have questions.
Describe the responsibilities associated with going out to the school sites for session?
Designate a person to pick up the car and that they have the car code
Designate a person to pick up the accordion file (binder)
Leave on time to make it to your school site on time. call ashley/skyeler if you are running late so we can inform the school site

6 week summer program at UCD, students take 5 classes, students experience college life, students benefit from academic/personal/professional growth

1st Unexcused Absence/Tardy: Warning – A verbal warning will be provided to the Advisor
2nd Unexcused Absence/Tardy: Warning – A written warning will be provided to the Advisor
3rd Unexcused Absence/Tardy: Subject to termination.
Upon returning from session, what should be complete? and what should you do with the returned paperwork?
TCRs should be completed, all paperwork turned in at session needs to be given to Skyeler/Ashley at meeting
