Federal EEO Process
An employee contacts EEO Director/EEO Counselor within 45 days; participates in counseling; offered ADR; receives a Notice of Right to File; files a formal complaint within 15 days; the Civil Rights Office investigates the complaint within 180 days; Final Agency Decision is offered; the Complainant requests an EEO hearing; and an Administrative Judge issues a decision followed by the agency’s Final Order.
