Troubled breathing, pain (chest pain), light-headiness, fever, nausea, etc.
What is implied consent?
If a parent or guardian is not present to grant consent, or, if somebody is unable to respond when under medical emergency, you have an unspoken ability to help them.
When should you press the shock button on the AED?
The machine will instruct you when to press it.
How deep should you push when giving CPR to an adult?
About 2 inches
What should you do if you are alone and choking?
Call 911 if possible, and try to lean over an object and give yourself abdominal thrusts.
What should you do when you notice a sudden illness in somebody?
Keep the person safe, get them comfortable, and call 911.

Where can you find an AED?
They are in most public buildings, and you should ask a manager working at the nearest one to find the AED ASAP.
Why do we do chest compression?
We hope that by pushing on the heart, we will allow for blood circulation to the brain.
How should you give choking care to an infant?
Place them upon your arm, and give 5 back blows, flip them over while keeping support on their neck, and give them 5 chest thrusts, and repeat.
What is respiratory distress?
Difficultly breathing, exhibited by shortness of breath.
Unusual sounds, odors, sights, and behaviors.
