Term for a queer person originating in British queer subculture
What is a fruit/fruitcake?
20th century term for a gay or bi man
What is a Mary/Mary Louise?
Someone new to the LBTQ+ community who has recently come out/realized they were queer
What is baby gay/gayby?
Type of flower associated with gay men
What is a pansy?
Originally derogatory term for a queer and/or effeminate person
What is a fairy?
Name for the LBTQ+ community that originated in homophobic circles, but has been reclaimed by the queer community

Any place where a large number of queer people live and/or socialize
What is a gaybourhood?
Late 19th/early 20th century term for someone whose physical appearance is the opposite of their presumed sexuality/gender identity (e.g. gay/lesbian/trans)
