What three verses in the first chapter of Genesis gives us a clue that there is a Trinity?
(Verse 1, Verse 2, Verse 26)
• Verse 1 – when the word God is used is the word Elohim in the Hebrew. This leaves the
idea that there is a plural amount being spoken of. It could literally read, “in the beginning gods created the heavens and the earth”
• Verse 2 – “Spirit moved among the waters” – the Holy Spirit was present
• Verse 26 – Let Us make man in our own image
