Tomas learns that Sabrina isn't going with anyone to the school dance. Sabrina usually goes with Nelly, and Tomas usually goes with his friends like Sam but Sam asked Nelly. Tomas finds Sabrina after school to ask her, but starts to get anxious and gets really quiet. What process should he use and what are the steps (for bonus)?
What is SHP! Bonus 100: Go Freeze: Tomas needs to calm down and take some breaths! Go Glove: Tomas can think from Sabrina's perspective: She would probably rather go with someone than go alone. It could be like a double date! Go Sphere: Tomas is nervous and doesn't have anyone to go to the dance with, but he has the ability to help change that. He can't change the fact that Sam asked Nelly instead of going with him, but he can change the fact that he is going alone. He can change his nervousness around Sabrina by spending more time with her and getting to know her. He cannot change whether or not Sabrina likes him. Go Light: Tomas is funny, and Sabrina is caring, friendly and outgoing. He can use his humour to help ask Sabrina to the dance. She is likely to say yes because of her strengths! Go Map: Tomas creates a plan to tell Sabrina a joke and then ask her to with him! Go Go!: Tomas makes an effort to ask Sabrina and he succeeds! Now he and Sam can go to the dance with Sabrina and Nelly!

What is 5Cs! Catch: Nelly's thought is that she won't look as good as Sabrina Check: Nelly is keyholing! She is only seeing the negative side of things Collect: Collect positive and negative evidence for the situation. Positive: Nelly has someone to go with. Nelly has a great wardrobe. Nelly's friends think she has great clothes. Negative: her clothes are older, others might make fun of her, or ignore her for Sabrina Challenge: Nelly doesn't have to look as good as Sabrina, she will have a fun time regardless. People probably won't even notice what she's wearing! Change: Nelly will have fun with Sabrina and Sam and what she's wearing won't matter!
