What are the proper items used to clean a vitals machine?

(Bleach wipe for the body of the machine, alcohol swab for screen then wiped off with water, cavi wipe for cuffs)
What are the proper CDC guidelines for washing your hands. (in step-by-step order)
1. Wet your hands with water (Avoid using hot water so you dont dry out your hands)
2. Apply soap
3. Rub hands together vigorously covering all surfaces of hand, fingers, and nails.
4. Rinse with water and dry
5. Use paper towel to turn off faucet.
Entire process should take roughly 20 seconds
What do you do if you dont know the source of the blood or bodily fluid?
Every attempt should be made to identify the name and location of the patient who was the source. If unable classify the source as "unknown" complete the required paperwork and assist the injured employee to the ER.

How long until HOSPITAL STERILIZED ITEMS expire
If peel packed they are indefinite unless there is an expiration sticker, visible wear, rips, or the structural integrity of the package is compromised.
If you are performing an item audit and notice most or all of an item is close to expiration what should you do?
If expired remove all items from use and notify the supervisor to order more items.
If not expired notify supervisor to order more and replace all items when order comes in.
Check all rooms for that item as well.
How do you know how long it has been since you first began to clean?
There is a clock in each patient room (pray it works)
