Northampton (5 stars): "Rain streaked windows enclose this precious enclave, stacked sandwiches fly off the counters as excited patrons ogle an array of pastries. An 'Emily’s favorite' sandwich paired excellently with a perfectly proportioned flat white and an apricot rosemary square. It’s safe to say, I was more than happy with my experience and will certainly be returning when I’m back in town."

Chatham (1 star): "We went for lunch. Here’s my comment: That was chicken salad? I have never tasted anything so padded out with red onions and celery. No hope of it tasting like chicken salad!!! My wife’s cranberry and chicken salad was greens with the same ugh “chicken salad” dumped on top of them with walnuts and cranberries sprinkled around. Yeah, now readers are going to reply that all of Chatham raves about your chicken salad. Sorry — it’s awful."

Northampton (1 star): "They used to have the best burger and fries as well as nice service, but something has changed. I've been eating there for years, but no longer...
Also, they have become extremely persnickety about their seating. Even at 4pm in a totally empty dining room, they try to force you in to the back tables by the kitchen if you have no reservation. Those tables are terrible, because you are bombarded by kitchen noises and the clash of the kitchen music vs the dining room music. They need to relax."
