What score would you give the following short answer?
Question: What similar idea do Of Mice and Men and Romeo and Juliet share?
Of Mice and Men and Romeo and Juliet share the similarity that the characters died tragically. In Of Mice and Men, the narrator explains how George shot Lennie: "He [George] pulled the trigger....Lennie jarred, and then settled slowly forward to the sand, and he lay without quivering." This is a a tragedy because George and Lennie were friends, yet they were forced in a situation where one had to kill the other. Similarly, when Romeo makes the decision to kill himself to be with Juliet, he says, "O true apothecary!
Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die." This is a tragedy because if he had just waited to get the whole story, he would not have died. Thus, both stories contain at least one character who died tragically.
This answer would be a one because it doesn't focus on a idea. It focused on what happened to the characters, but that is NOT an idea. If the question isn't more specific, focus on a theme!
It would be a high one because it does use evidence though!
