Virginia Beach City Public Schools is committed to the well-being of all students, staff, and their families and has partnered with Care Solace to provide an additional layer of support. Care Solace will navigate the mental health care system on your behalf to find community-based providers and secure appointments as quickly as possible with the best care possible. Our coordination services are paid for by Virginia Beach City Public Schools and are provided to the VBCPS family at no cost.

Historically, the program was geared to students in grades 5-12, but the criteria has now allowed for grades 4-12! This gives more of our elementary girls an opportunity to participate! Even if you do not teach these grades, anyone can encourage a student to sign up! They just need to scan the QR Code and complete it with their parent/guardian.
The easy daily habits you can complete directly in the app to steadily stack up points for doing things like learning about stress management or caring for an aging parent.

Since we do not have access to free and reduced lunch information, candidates are chosen based off what teachers, staff, counselors, and administrators learn along the way. There is no deadline to refer a child and they can receive a Beach Bag at any time during the year.
What is the updated attendance and travel policy for the Beach Girls Rock series?
In the past, students needed to attend these sessions with their parent and provide their own transportation. But now transportation is provided! The first session was at ODS on Saturday, September 26. Although this has passed, there will be more throughout the year.
