They use the crooks end to pull sheep from ledges or holes. They use them to guide the sheep in the direction they need to go.

Hew was sleeping in the back of the boat.

On average, how many kids come to Kids Club each week?
Between 65-72 kids attend each week.
Because Jesus went ahead and prepared the way for us, does that mean we will never have troubles or problems?
No, predators might attack, poisonous plants of sin may grow in. You may experience sickness, hurt, loss of loved one, or other difficulties. But Jesus makes sure that we have good days as well as bad, joy with out sadness.
Why were the disciples afraid when Jesus was calm?
They knew that storms are dangerous and they didn't have faith in Jesus.
Why did Pilate sentence Jesus to die if he thought that Jesus was innocent?
He was more concerned about his own reputation.

Natural dangers are storms, poisonous weeds, and cliffs or holes.
Predators lurk in the shadows like, wolves, and snakes.

Why did the Jewish leaders want Jesus to be killed?
The Jewish leaders were jealous and really angry because Jesus was teaching that salvation comes from God's grace, not by trying to follow the laws perfectly.
How often can you ask for forgiveness?
As many times as you need to! We all do wrong things, and we can come to God and ask for forgiveness each time. Then we ask God to help us not repeat the same wrong things.

What are the 3 reasons that the Shepherd takes his sheep up through the valley?
1. It's the easy way (gentle slopes, no cliffs)
2. There is water
3. The food is the best
Why was Jesus disappointed that the disciples were so afraid of the storm?
It showed their lack of faith in HIm.
Can we ever be good enough to go to heaven?
No. Nobody is perfect. We all sin and do wrong things. But if we ask, Jesus will forgive us of our sins and will help us to live right, and we can spend eternity in heaven with him.
Is there anything "too bad" for God to forgive?
Nope! As long as you repent (ask for forgiveness and try to live a Godly life), God will forgive your sins.
