Campers must wear what type of attire to the pool?

—boys in swim trunks and girls in bathing suits. Street clothes, jean shorts, athletic shorts, or non-swim clothing are not allowed. Swimwear should provide full coverage, fit securely, and be designed for active movement. Avoid suits with detachable straps, strings, or ties. Recommended options include one‑piece suits, tankinis, or sports bikinis for girls, and boxer-style swim trunks for boys.

How would a parents know what their camper is doing every week? 

Camp Kyle will produce a newsletter, stating the theme and planned activities for each week that will be emailed to parents and guardians on the weekend, prior to the camp week. All emails will be directed to the contact email provided in the child's primary contact information via Recdesk

How do you cancel/withdraw from a week of Kyle Camp?

You have to talk or written request to JJ Sanchez Director of Camp.

Why cant my child bring their digital device?

Parks & Recreation is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen property. Our staff requires your child’s attention; items from home can be distracting to other campers and staff.

What is the process for Check-in and Check-out?

Parent/caretaker must walk up show us their ePact QR code and sign out their camper.

Can we administer medication?

No, we can only remind campers to take medication. We are not responsible for any forgotten medication or storage/handling of medication.

When are the Youth and teens Field Trip days?

Youth go every Tuesday and Thursdays and Teens go Every Wednesday and Fridays

Can a neighbor, friend or relative pick up my child?

ampers will only be released to the individuals authorized to pick up. If an individual, not named by the legal guardian(s), attempts to gain access to a child, the parent will be contacted immediately. If no one authorized to give permission is available, the child will not be released. If needing to add an authorized pick up please add to ePACT account. (Staff cannot add authorized pick-up to your ePACT account.)

What is our refund policy?

We keep the non-refundable deposit of $50 and cannot get any type of refund 21 days prior to camp start.

What happens if someone is late to pick up their camper?

$10 per child applied to family account for every 5 min.

How can a parent get a hold of a camper or counselor on a field trip?

Can campers be picked up from field trips?

Yes Campers can be picked up, this must be communicated in advance to the Assistant Director and Director.

Can I stay with my child or go with my child while in camp?

Parents and guardians are asked to remain outside the camp area during camp hours so campers can enjoy a safe and focused experience. If there’s an emergency or special circumstance, our Assistant Camp Director or Family Service Coordinator can help make arrangements.
